ICG’s recent Key Issue report evaluates the impact of international attempts to end conflict mineral trade in DRC. These images by T. Kayikwamba Wagner, who was kind enough to share photos from her trip with us, depict the mining area on the island of Idjwi in the South Kivu province of DRC.
